"The Lord gives us guidance on finances? No way!"

"You bet! Next to the kingdom of God, Jesus spoke about money almost as often. 'For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.' That's Luke 12:34. Anyway, the point is that money is a big deal, so why wouldn't our savior want to save us from the power it can have on us?"

"Great. What else does the bible say about MY money?"

"Well, a lot, but here's a great verse about what He can do for those that trust in his provision..."

malachi 3:10-12

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing. ¹¹ I will rebuke the locust for you, so that it will not destroy the produce of your soil; and your vine in the field shall not be barren, says the LORD of hosts. ¹² Then all nations will count you happy, for you will be a land of delight, says the LORD of hosts.

Trinity's Source of Income

YOU, the Body of Christ! In fact, roughly 90% of the ministry of Trinity depends on pledges alone. Isn't it amazing that our church functions on the grace and love of God through His congregation? The good news is that no matter what your resources are, God is always with you. You can minister to our congregation, community and the church's missions throughout the world by sharing those resources.

How Do I Step Up?

1. pray...We are stewards of many resources. Have God help you decide.
2. proportionate giving...Consider giving a percentage of your income. Some of us use the biblical standard tithe of 10%. God knows what is right for you. Pray some more.
